President Buhari Shows Grieve Towards The Death Of UNIPORT Students, Urges Police To Take Quick Action

President Muhammadu Buhari mourns the death of the University of Port Harcourt students reportedly murdered by kidnappers in April. The president commiserated with the families of the three students and extends his condolences to the university authorities and the Rivers State Government over the unfortunate occurence.
Describing the tragic incident as “sad and heinous,” President Buhari regretted that the “evil perpetrators have cut short the prospectively bright journey of these youths.”
He further went on to pray to God to comfort all those who mourn these young students, and grant the victims’ souls eternal rest.
The Nigerian Police has therefore been urged by the President to intensify in their search for the remaining suspects as the Police Anti-Kidnapping Unit has made it known that one of the suspects of the murder has been caught and arrested. Presidents Buhari further directs the Police that all perpetrators should be brought to justice.
According to the President:

“This administration will continue to equip the law enforcement and security agencies to bring to an end the evil activities of kidnappers in the country.”
