OMG!! Ogun Student Commits Suicide After His Girlfriend Dumped Him To Marry Another Man

A young student of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), has been reported to have taken his life for being dumped by his girlfriend.

About a week after University of Ilorin student, Gbenga Favour Olaoye lost his life to a N300 million Forex scam, another young student from Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), has been reported to have taken his life for being dumped by his girlfriend.

The late OGITECH student identified as Nonso was a fresh National Diploma graduate of the institution from the department of Businesses Administration.
A close friend of the deceased who confirmed the incident revealed that Nonso recently sponsored his girlfriend, one Miracle to a Dubai trip but “but Miracle went ahead and got married to another man.

One of his friends shared on his status that Nonso refused to go home to celebrate Christmas as the rest of them left the hostel to spend time with their families for the festivities.

“While he was in school, he posted ‘Miracle Way’ on his WhatsApp status. We called his number for days but was unavailable. Some of us were not worried about that because we thought he wanted to be left alone by himself. It was when some friends contacted his mom, who told them that she had not seen or heard from her son for days.

“Some friends went back to his hostel and broke the door to see what was happening, but to their surprise, he was found lying lifeless on the floor and had started decomposing. It was sad to see Nanso kill himself because his girlfriend dumped him for another man,” the source said.

The spike in the number of suicide cases by youths is starting to be alarming. Another case of suicide by one young lady, Ohirenua Giwa-Amu, recently confirmed this. On her passing, Ohirenua had left an open letter accusing her father and popular pastor, Femi Giwa-Amu, for allegedly raping her repeatedly when she was seven years old. Ohirenua’s death was confirmed by her friends, and her uncle Ozolua Giwa-Amu who all wrote several tributes and sought prayers for her departed soul on social media.
