In a bid to contribute to creating and maintaining a clean and healthy environment, digital media entrepreneur Mujeeb Olaitan Jibulu has donated waste disposals to more than 1,000 households in Abeokuta North.
Jibulu, who hails from Elega in Abeokuta North, pointed out that there is a need to maintain good cleaning culture within households to avoid harmful diseases and maintain good health.
The waste disposal materials include medium pedal bins for people to keep their rooms or apartments clean and big swing bins to cater for an entire house.
Meanwhile, many residents of Abeokuta North Local Government in Ogun State have described the act as a perfect way to help them keep clean at all times.
According to one of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Olopade, who resides at Rounder, “no one will have any reason to litter the environment with dirts when there is a proper waste disposal around, this is not the first time I will be a beneficiary of Jibulu’s kind gesture, and I pray that God in His infinite mercy will continue to bless him for us.”
In a statement issued by Team Jibulu, beneficiaries were implored to make good use of the waste disposals for the primary purpose of keeping their immediate environment clean and free of dirty items, and also advise that they should try as much as possible to dispose waste appropriately.
However, the donor, Jibulu Mujeeb Olaitan, is a well-known Philanthropist who has contributed over the years to the educational development of many children by providing books and other writing materials to less privileged. He is also known for constant care for the aged by providing food items and other necessities.
