What will you do if you wake up 2020 to find out you are in SS3 just preparing for WAEC and JAMB?

Imagine after several years of studying the regular courses like biochemistry, mass communication, and political science or professional courses like engineering, law and medicine which can in Nigeria universities take the span of 4 to 7 years not considering the probability of having an extra year. Now, to think after all the days of tutorial classes, night classes and long boring hours of lecture, you just woke up and found out you are still a secondary school (ss3) student of say, Alaba Grammar School preparing for your West African Examination Council (WAEC) and Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams.

Realizing all those years of queuing for CBT tests, standing up in GNS classes and battling with countless numbers of tests, assignments, and hostility and abuse of some lecturers were just a dream. That you are just about to relive it all in reality.

Now, you have to battle with reality and go to the university in real life now.

Be sincere, what will you do if you wake up to find out you have not even written the post jamb and screening exams of your tertiary institution of choice.

Tell us in the comment box…. let’s discuss.

PS: As for me, I would tell myself that the dream has just started and what happened before is the reality.

Because come to think of it, I wrote jamb twice before I managed to cross the pass mark with just 18 marks. What assurance do I have that I would pass ever again not to talk of getting to the university and piling up series of carryovers, all over again?

What Will You Do?

Let’s hear from you all.

What do you think?
